NON-RESIDENT STUDENT ADMISSION POLICY

The Saraland Board of Education has an approved policy for admitting a limited number of non-resident students each year. Selection is based on academic performance, behavior, and attendance eligibility requirements.

Tuition & Waivers

  • Following notification of non-resident approval, a $3,000 annual tuition fee is required.
  • Full-time employees of Saraland City Schools and the City of Saraland may qualify for a tuition waiver.
  • Saraland business owners who own their business property may also be eligible for a waiver.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Admission decisions will be mailed by June 3rd, and tuition must be paid in full before registration.

The 2026-2027 non-resident student application process is now OPEN.
