The Sparty Foundation is a non-profit organization led by an all-volunteer board of dedicated citizens and educators who serve as a connection between the Saraland community and its schools. Although the Foundation’s work is independent of the Saraland Board of Education, securing resources to enrich learning both in and out of the classroom is the organization’s goal. Each year, the Sparty Foundation will sponsor fundraising events with proceeds benefiting students in Saraland City Schools through a grant process for teachers.
Currently, the Sparty Foundation is leading the charge for the Alabama Department of Transportation to produce a distinct license plate for the school system. Through this effort, Spartans will be able to support our schools while also displaying community pride across THE LAND.
