FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) prepares students to become community-minded leaders. FBLA also prepares students for the business world in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experience.
Saraland Middle School’s FBLA chapter is heavily involved in community service projects throughout the school year. One of our largest and most rewarding projects that we participate in year after year is Operation Christmas Child. FBLA packs shoeboxes full of goodies to send to others that are less fortunate. We also have a canned food drive in order to assist the Civic Forum distribute meals to needy families during the holidays. Throughout the school year, FBLA also collects can tabs for Ronald McDonald House, socks for the elderly, and dog treats for our local police department’s K-9 unit.
All while being heavily involved in community service projects, FBLA members prepare and compete against other FBLA chapters throughout the state of Alabama in a variety of categories. Top placing teams and individuals will represent our school on the national level.
