Saraland High School first opened its doors to students in January 2010. In fall 2023, the enrollment for grades 9-12 was 1,150. Academic departments consist of Math, Science, English, History, English, Fine Arts, Career Technical Education, Foreign Language, Health/Physical Education, and Special Education. Under the leadership of a chairperson, each department works as a team to plan and assess instructional methods aligned with Alabama Course of Study Standards.
