Welcome to First Grade! I grew up in Saraland and graduated with an Advanced Diploma from Satsuma High School. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for thirty-two years, and we were blessed with three wonderful children. Our oldest son is an academic advisor for a university. Our youngest son works in IT at a local hospital. Our daughter is an elementary teacher. 

I was blessed to be a stay at home mom until our youngest child began first grade. Then, I went back to college at the University of South Alabama, and graduated cum laude when I had earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. In Saraland Schools, I have worked as a volunteer, substitute, para-professional, or teacher for twenty-four years. The 2024-2025 school year is my twelth year of teaching first grade.
