I am a counselor here at Saraland Middle School. I worked for the Mobile County School System for ten years at Murphy High School (2004-2013). I began my teaching career with freshman English Language Arts. The latter part of my teaching career at Murphy was spent teaching 10th-12th English Language Arts, Greek Mythology, and Creative Writing. This is my 10th year with Saraland City Schools and I could not be happier to be a part of such a dynamic faculty and system.

I have been married for 15 years and we have two wonderful children together. Liz(14) and Cooper(13) are the light of my life, and keep me busy with an array of extracurricular activities( Our family also includes a black German Shepherd named Rocket and a half Beagle half Shih Tzu named Rusty). In my spare time, I love fishing with my husband, bicycling with my kids, and spending time with my family and friends.
