I worked for the ESL Department of Tuscaloosa County School System for two years while studying at the University of Alabama, and taught Spanish in an after-school program at Taylorville Primary School in Moundville, AL. 2018-2019 was my first year teaching Spanish I and Spanish II here at Saraland City High School. I graduated from the University of South Alabama on December 10, 2021, achieving a masters' degree through the Alternative Master's Program for Secondary Education/Spanish. Last summer I was able to spend time with family in Lima and Trujillo, Peru. I look forward to sharing some of the experiences I had while in Peru with our students. This will be my 6th year teaching and I am so blessed to have the support of the most amazing co-workers and friends here at this school. Go Spartans! ¡Espartanos para siempre!
