Brett Boutwell is entering his 11th year as a teacher/coach here at Saraland High School, and 22nd year in education overall. In addition to working with the Spartan athletic strength and conditioning program, he coaches varsity football (wide receivers and special teams) 2022 State Champions and is the head varsity baseball coach. Under his leadership, the baseball program at SHS has collected 7 Area titles, 265 wins and also has helped Coach Boutwell collect a total of 447 wins. Coach Boutwell is married to Amy Boutwell ( 5th Grade teacher at SES) and they have two children, Emma Grace (10th grade) and Clete (7th grade).
