Welcome to Family and Consumer Sciences! My name is Mrs. McGinnis, and I am so excited to take on my first year at Saraland Middle School. I attended Jacksonville State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. FACS holds a special place in my heart, and I hope to prepare each student to navigate the challenges we face in our career, home, family, and social lives. 

I am from Northeast Alabama and recently moved to Mobile. I am also newly married to my high school sweetheart. We have a sassy Frenchie named Dolly, and she is our pride and joy. In my “spare” time, I love shopping, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and friends. It is truly an honor to be part of the Spartan Family, and I am looking forward to a successful year!
