Hey, I'm Coach Casey Vick. I graduated from Satsuma HS in 2006, then attended Faulkner State (Coastal) for pre-engineering. In 2008, I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard where I first served in Hampton Roads, VA as the leading AtoN (aids to navigation) technician, boat crew member, and engineer. Once promoted to Machinery Technician, I relocated to the USCGC Diamondback in South Beach Miami, FL; performing drug and migrant interdiction operations as a boarding team member, ship engineer, and damage control lead. In 2013, I separated from service and enrolled at Everglades University in Boca Raton, FL. I graduated in 2015 with a BS in Aviation/Aerospace and moved back to the area. I worked as a driver for UPS for some time until I decided to seek a career in education. Fortunately, a mentor and former Varsity baseball coach, Jeff Ward, provided me with the opportunity to enter into the education field as a paraprofessional, instructing the ISS program at Saraland HS. Additionally, I was given the honor and privilege to assist Coach Jordan Countryman in his epic vision to create the best high school wrestling program in the state.
Additional roles: Press-box production team, After-school detention, Saturday school, track and field official
