I am so excited to be joining the Spartan family as I enter my 11th year of teaching science! 

I grew up in a very small town in the southeast corner of Alabama, called Hartford. I was inspired by some of my own teachers to pursue a career in education. Through attending the University of South Alabama, I fell in love with the Mobile area. My husband and I are high school sweethearts from the same small town, and once we had our first child, we felt that we needed to be closer to our family "back home." Little did we know that we would feel homesick for Mobile. We were blessed with the opportunity to move back this summer, and I could not have asked for a better school to welcome me to the next chapter of my career. 

My husband and I have a 7-year-old son, Levi, and a 3-year-old daughter, Millicent. We also have a fur baby, Murphy, who is a 1-year-old Goldendoodle. Our family enjoys music, church, traveling, finding good eats (my husband is a trained chef and a big foodie), and sports.
