Hello, my name is Jami Martin. I am thrilled to be your child’s first-grade teacher at Saraland EEC. While I may be new to the Saraland district, I come with 9 years of experience and a passion for education. I’m excited to start my 10^th year in education.

I graduated from Baldwin County High School. Upon graduating, I attended Troy University, where I received a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education K-6.  Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten, third, and fifth grade. For the past five years, I have also had the additional responsibility as lead teacher for Science and Social Studies for grades 3^rd to 5^th and as the Robotics Club Coordinator.

Outside of the classroom, I cherish the time I spend with my loving husband of 13 years and our three wonderful children. They keep us busy, but we cherish each moment with them.  In my spare time, I enjoy singing, playing the piano, photography, and shopping.
