Welcome! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Blake Bodie, and I am the new Band Director at Saraland Middle. I am originally from the Mississippi gulf coast, where after high school I came to Mobile to attend the University of South Alabama. During my time at "South" I was in countless ensembles, from jazz band to opera chorus. I graduated this past December from "South" and since graduating I’ve started a Saxophone studio in the Mobile area, from various schools for any student wanting to be proficient at the saxophone from 6-12 grade.

In my class and rehearsals, I hope to teach your child a valuable talent that they can bring with them into their future.I am excited to work with your children and help them not only be the best musicians they can be, but also the best versions of themselves that they can be.
