Hello Spartans! Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. My name is Jennifer Bowden, but most of my students call me Coach Bowden. This is my second year teaching at Saraland Middle School. I have been a Physical Education and Health teacher for the past 20 years. I am also the softball coach here at SMS.  I am married to my husband Sambo and we will soon celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. We have two children. Carleigh is a sophomore at The University of Mobile. Some of you may know my son Cade. He is a 9th grader at SHS. I am an avid Auburn fan. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, hunting, yardwork, and spending time at the beach. I am so eager to meet you all and I look forward to a great year. Go Spartans.
