Welcome!  This will be my second year as a Saraland Middle School Spartan!  I transferred from Dunbar Magnet School where I spent nearly 20 years teaching 6th and 7th grade ELA.  I am now blessed to be a part of this amazing school system and take on 8th grade ELA!

I am originally from a very small town called Megargel, AL, in Monroe County.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jack, for 19 years.  We have one spirited daughter, Mickayla, who also attends SMS.  Our family has been living in the Saraland area for over 14 years and love the community!  We are members of Destination Church, where I serve as a nursery coach for kids three and under.  We are also the proud owners of Alfie, our ten-year-old rescue dog.  We enjoy traveling and have visited several amazing places; this summer we added London and Paris to our list!

I can't wait to see what this year has in store!  Go Spartans!
