My name is Haley Harrison, and I will be teaching your child in first grade this year. I am a 3rd generation graduate of The University of Alabama, and I graduated in 2021 with my Master's degree. This is my 9th year as a classroom teacher, and I am so excited to spend the year with your special little person! I have taught intervention, K4, 3rd and 1st, but I have to say, first grade is my dream grade level.

A little more about me – I am mom to Hunt, a one-year-old, and wife to Peter, a marine logistics manager. I have 2 dogs, DeeDee, who is 11 years old and Willis, who is 10 years old. In my free time, I create digital educational resources, create paper products, go to the beach with family and friends. I am passionate about education, design, and a really good latte.

This is going to be a wonderful year for your child. You are going to see growth in both their academic abilities and social skills. Our room will be a place where all students will feel respected, safe, and confident in their abilities. I want students to feel like they are able to challenge themselves to take chances academically within our classroom.
