Hello! My name is Alexis Rice and I am excited to begin my fifth (& a half) year teaching at SMS. 

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, AL (roll tide). I graduated from The University of Alabama with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2019. Upon graduation, I moved to Saraland and began working here at the middle school! Together, my husband and I have three children (Collin, Christian, and Avery) and an Aussie named Marley. 

This year I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics. I am thrilled to spend the year at SMS working with the best students and staff in the state!
