On a daily basis, the employees of Saraland City Schools work diligently to ensure students receive a quality education with the goal of preparing students for life in a global economy. To build a foundation for student success in Saraland, since inception, the Saraland City School Board has demonstrated a commitment to constructing outstanding facilities that provide an environment conducive to learning.

The ingredients to an outstanding school system are fully evident in Saraland -- a city leadership team that places tremendous value on public education, a school board composed of committed and passionate community members, devoted faculty and staff, involved parents, and most importantly, a great group of young people that comprise our student body. All of these ingredients together result in one of the top five school districts in the state based on the 2022-2023 district report card issued by the Alabama Department of Education.
